Each year we offer the public a taste of the SALTS tall ship experience aboard the Pacific Swift and Pacific Grace. Day sail trainees will be welcomed aboard in Victoria’s beautiful Inner Harbour and set sail under the instruction of our professional crew for several hours of adventure in the Salish Sea.
Everyone who sails with SALTS is considered a "trainee" and will take an active part in sailing the ship. Although no previous experience is necessary, physical agility and mental alertness are essential for safe participation. Please review our physical and mental health policy prior to registering.
SALTS day sails are open to the public and membership is not required. People of all ages may participate; however, there is a limit to the number of children under 12 years of age permitted aboard sail training vessels. Each child must be accompanied by a responsible adult and wear a personal flotation device while aboard.
